DNS servers are responsible for creating DNS (Domain Name Systems) records to provide information about your domain, hostname, and IP address. The most common type of DNS record is the DNS host record. It stores the hostname and the corresponding IPv4 address.

Every site on the web has an IP address by which it’s determined on the web. Along with this IP address, the domain name of your site on the database. This file containing data tells the web server how to respond to the request by using the search browser called DNS records.

DNS records also known as the mapping files. Whenever a request is sent by a visitor to access a site, this request goes to the Domain Name Systems database. The database looks up the records, finds the IP address of the site, and forwards this information to the requesting server.
